Increased relevance of keyword combinations

Keyword combinations will be indexed better when they are placed between ' ' . Apparently, Google gives keyword combinations such as 'green dresses' more relevance when put between ' ' . Obviously, this relates to keywords that do not render directly on the front-end side.
Another way to give more relevance to keywords is by using bold or italics.
