Quick marketing actions

Recently, I have been bombarded with goodie ideas by offline marketers, and customer service reps (a customer rep can be the greatest source of customer information). All cool stuff, all interesting stuff, all things that promise exposure, engagement and retention. Because I value this input I needed to do something with that information quickly. This list is a practicle starting point:

  1. Call a former client to ask for referrals
  2. Send a handwritten note to someone you met at a meeting recently
  3. Email a potential referral source to set up a meeting
  4. Call the program chairperson of an organization you want to speak to about setting up a speaking engagement
  5. Reward converting customers with goodies
  6. Think customer when flooded with ideas, demands, and specialist personalities
  7. Create an outline for an article you want to write
  8. Call a prospect to find out if he/she is ready to become a client
  9. Send an article with a note to a client or prospect on a topic you know he/she is interested in
  10. Order a thank you gift on the web or by phone to be sent to someone who just referred a client to you
  11. Put an article you have written on an article bank website
  12. Remember your customer life cycle and act accordingly
  13. Register for your next networking event
  14. create an outline marketing calender; add notes!!
