Retail KPI's


Below a summary of kpi's that might help increase the efficiency of your etail-business.

  2. Sales compared to last year

KPI's elaborated
  1. Sales compared to budget/target: Actual sales divided by budget/target sales
  2. Sales compared to last year (or any other period): Actual sales for a given period divided by actual sales for the period you want to compare to
  3. Wage Cost online specialists: Actual wage paid for a given period divided by actual sales achieved for the same period
  4. ROAS/online marketing channel: Return On Advertising spent/channel/month (profit - ad spend x 100)
  5. Average sale/visitor/transaction: Total sales for a given period divided by the number of customers or transactions for the same period
  6. Products per Transaction: Total number of products sold in a given period divided by the number of customers or transactions for the same period
  7. Conversion rate paid search: The number of transactions in a given period divided by the total number of visitors during the same period 
  8. Conversion rate organic search:  The number of transactions in a given period divided by the total number of visitors during the same period 
  9. Avg Time on site: Average time spent by customers in the store can be measured through sophisticated techniques utilizing RFID and wireless technologies or manually. Reason for this measurement: There is a direct correlation between time customers spend in a store and how much they buy.
